ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Álvaro — born and raised in Málaga, Spain, and a passionate linguist. After finishing my studies in Barcelona, I moved to the Flemish region of Belgium, where I lived for almost 10 years and honed my Dutch skills. Along the way, I’ve traveled to over 90 countries (including extended stays in Canada and New Zealand, 6 months in each place), where I improved my English fluency.

These experiences have given me more than just language skills — they’ve also provided me with a deep cultural understanding that allows me to deliver accurate, top-notch translations. I’m a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail and a professional, ambitious mindset.

My areas of expertise include travel & tourism, marketing, video game localization, cryptocurrency, blockchain, and the casino industry.

I’ve worked/currently work with major brands like the crypto exchange Gate.io, Booking.com, and one of the world’s top five tech companies. I also have translated for years daily for Mostbet, a leading casino company, and managed the localization project for the Monobot game. Additionally, I collaborate actively with translation agencies like Tolq, Architekst, Ultimate Translations, Perfect, Smartling, Dialogue, and many others.
